Why Going on a Stupid Walk for My Stupid Mental Health is Actually Genius Look, some days getting out of bed feels like climbing Everest in flip-flops … actually, crocs (Without sport mode on). But here’s the thing: dragging myself out the door for what I lovingly refer to as my stupid walk for my…

Real Talk on Mental Health, Healing, Grief, and Embracing Your Magic!

Welcome!

If you have questions, Let's Connect!.

At a time when the world feels uncertain and compa At a time when the world feels uncertain and compassion seems in short supply, I believe kindness is a quiet form of resistance. I feel this world can sometimes feel so divided, where cruelty and indifference often dominate, where bullying and racism continues to happen. Choosing kindness—especially when it feels like the world is working against it—is one of the most powerful acts we have. It’s easy to become numb, to stop caring, to assume small gestures don’t matter. But refusing to let the world make you cold, continuing to show up with kindness despite the chaos—that’s resistance.

The Scatter Kindness Cards are about reminding us all that the smallest things can have the biggest impact. Kindness isn’t just a fleeting moment; it’s a way to connect with one another and push back against a culture of indifference.

More about it on the blog 🤍✨

I recently wrote a blog post about how I feel like I recently wrote a blog post about how I feel like I am not enough, or far far too much. I came across a poem called Breathe. Let me tell you … I cried when I read it. Probably because I know the feeling that I am not enough and also the weight of being far too much. Becky Hemsley’s Breathe captures it perfectly. Here is just a snippet of it:

“She told them she felt she was never enough,
She was either too little or far far too much,
Too loud or too quiet, too fierce or too weak,
Too wise or too foolish, too bold or too meek,

Then she found a small clearing surrounded by firs,
And she stopped...and she heard what the trees said to her,
And she sat there for hours not wanting to leave,
For the forest said nothing, it just let her breathe.”

It’s a reminder that no matter how much we try to fit their expectations, we can’t be everything for everyone. But what if we stopped trying? What if we listened to the whisper that says:

‘You don’t have to be everything to everyone.
You just need to be enough for yourself.’

Stay connected, stay grounded! ✨🌍 I was intr Stay connected, stay grounded! ✨🌍

I was introduced to @grounding.well a few months ago. As always, I like to try products out for a few months just so I can give my honest feedback!

Grounding Sheets are your ticket to natural wellness and deeper connection with the Earth. 🛌💆‍♀️

Here are the top 3 things I noticed:
• It helped me to relax!
• I slept better, and through the night! I did have some wild dreams though at first - and I am not sure if that was related.
• It helped to reduce inflammation. My body wasn’t as sore from waking up as normal!

We now have one in our guest bed, and have found people the next day say they’ve slept amazing!

Whether you’re catching Zzz’s or unwinding after a long day, grounding has never been easier.

Feel the difference. Feel the Earth. 🌱🌟

I have tried to keep politics out of this account. I have tried to keep politics out of this account. But, when I relaunched I made a promised to myself to show up, authentically, messy and real. I posted on my story that 70,000,000 people were fighting for the change, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community. I lost almost 200 followers, and I am sure after this post, more will hit that unfollow button. And that’s ok.

The past few weeks leading up to the U.S. election have been so unsettling. Even though I’m in Canada, my heart aches for what’s happening south of the border. We have our own election coming up next year, and the weight of it all feels just so fucking heavy. The news is a lot, the comments on social media are full of anger and division is only adding to the sadness. Fear is real.

I can’t help but feel that our society is changing in ways that scare me. What people seem to value these days, over the fundamental rights of others … I am struggling to find the words.

I find myself in between the world I grew up in, and old beliefs, with what I now know, to my core, to be so untrue. I am a firm believer in Pro Choice, and fundamental rights for all humans and I continue to pray for a place where everyone feels like they have a right to take up space and be who they are. Where we all have the same rights. Where we all feel like we belong.

We are human. All of us. Full. Fucking. Stop.

I long for simpler times—quiet moments by the fireplace, writing my blog, and living without the constant grief and turmoil. But maybe, some good will come from it. Maybe, this will launch change. I hope, I have to hope.

Life just feels heavy.
Since launching my blog, this is probably one of t Since launching my blog, this is probably one of the hardest blog posts yet. But I felt it was necessary. My goal, is to show up, how I am, as best as I can. It’s funny, I remember telling my mom I will get her handwriting on me sometime … she said “don’t you dare!” … but I think she’d like it … maybe 🫣

It’s been over 2 years since she left this earth … and I think this was the first time I felt I could write more than an IG post!

“Losing my mom wasn’t just tragic—it was like someone reached into my life and ripped out the ground beneath my feet. I think sometimes, I am still trying to catch my footing. One moment, she texted asking if I can order her and my Dad Cactus … that was our last text message exchange. “Your dinner is there, Enjoy!” And her response “Tanks! Order for you and Brody tomorrow?!”

Welcome back to the chaos✨ I took a much-needed Welcome back to the chaos✨

I took a much-needed break from social media (sorry, not sorry … if you even noticed I went off the grid slightly 😂!)

Chopped my hair, learned a lot, did more therapy sessions than I can count, and … I *think* I am coming back home to myself. It’s been a lot … all the messy feels included.

But … proud moment — I re-launched my blog! If you’re up late night scrolling, hit the link in my bio, leave a comment … or 5 and then make some suggestions on what I should write next!

I love my new brush from @netzerocompany! Not only I love my new brush from @netzerocompany! Not only are the bristles strong, once worn out, you can pop it in your compost and it will biodegrade. It also pairs VERY well with the Green Tea Dish Block, which smells totally heavenly!
